January February March April May June July 19th - 20th July : Bamburgh Research Project Open DaysHeld at Bamburgh Castle, these are open days to see the excavations that are taking place to find more about the history of the castle. There will be tours of the site, which are free, although there is a fee for entry to the castle. August 2nd - 3rd August : St. Oswald's FestivalThis free event takes place near Bamburgh Castle between 11 - 4.30. There will be re-enactments and many stalls. Fun for all the family. 22nd - 31st August : St Aidan's FestivalThis week long series of events finishes on St Aidan's Day. The festivals celebrates the saints of Anglo-Saxon Northumbria. Further details to be announced. Free Entry. 24th August : Bamburgh Summer FairMore information to follow. September 13th September : Bamburgh Village ShowA traditional English village show, fun for all the family. More information to follow. October November December Book your stay
